I make my jewelry and accessories completely from hand using upcycled elements wherever possible, such as copper electrical wire remnants, old brass sheeting, sari silk remnants, empty tea and cookie tins, reclaimed beads, found bones, etc. I accent them with gemstones and beads gathered from everywhere rather than from the local craft store keeping my jewelry unique to the area. I don't use a computer, 3-d printer, or glowforge for any of my work and instead prefer to make my metal components from hand, including my ear wires by hammering, shaping, and or soldering before accenting with silks, beads and stones. I also make jewelry from tea tins, and seasonally I upcycle old wool and cashmere sweaters into felted fingerless gloves. I also block print and sew garden flag strands and sometimes make various other accessories that aren't necessarily jewelry such as my bag charms and hair accessories.
