Judy Wright

I've been blessed with a successful career in Americana music, including performing on the Grand Ole Opry and the Ralph Emery Morning Show. My family's gospel group in Illinois, The Wright Messengers, sparked my love for music- but it was Dolly Parton who truly inspired me. After hearing Coat of Many Colors at age 13, I sold my clarinet to buy a guitar and began tuning it to the Opry every weekend. I later attended the Blair School of Music and released three successful Americana CD's.
